Mirai's Impressive Box Office Performance
The action-adventure film 'Mirai' has quickly gained popularity among viewers, marking a successful return for lead actor Teja Sajja after his previous hit, 'HanuMan'. Despite facing stiff competition from several new releases this Friday, 'Mirai' has carved out a notable presence at the box office, as evidenced by its impressive Day 2 earnings.
Box Office Collection on Day 2
'Mirai' kicked off with a robust performance, earning Rs 13 crore on its opening day (Friday). The Telugu version was the standout, bringing in Rs 11.15 crore, while the Hindi version contributed Rs 1.65 crore, with smaller amounts from Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions. On Saturday (Day 2), the film's earnings increased to approximately Rs 14.5 crore, with Rs 11.5 crore from Telugu and Rs 2.8 crore from Hindi. This brings the total collection over the first two days to Rs 27.5 crore, with Telugu leading at Rs 22.65 crore and Hindi at Rs 4.45 crore.

The storyline of 'Mirai' revolves around a warrior tasked with safeguarding nine sacred scriptures that possess the power to transform any mortal into a deity. In a recent interview, Teja Sajja shared insights about his casting in 'Mirai' following the success of 'HanuMan'. He mentioned that director Karthik Ghattamaneni approached him with the project, outlining the challenges they would face during filming. Teja expressed his commitment to bringing the director's vision to life, stating, 'The moment he stopped, I told him that Mirai would happen, exactly the way he had dreamt it.'
In addition to Teja Sajja, the film features Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran in prominent roles, with Manchu Manoj portraying the main antagonist.
